| HOW TO APPLY FOR OFFICIAL MEMBERSHIP OF VCCI |
The amended Statute of VCCI adopted by the fourth General Assembly and approved by the Government of Vietnam provides that entrepreneurs, production entities, business enterprises, employers, and business associations, duly registered and operating in Vietnam may become official members of VCCI.
In order to be official members, the interested parties are requested to send to VCCI head office in Hanoi or its branches and representative offices the following documents:
- Application for official member of VCCI (using VCCI form)
- License for operating in Vietnam (copy)
- Business Registration (copy)
On receiving the application, VCCI Standing Committee shall consider and notify on the admission of official members. Within a month, from a notification, the applicant shall pay the admission fee and become official member.
According to Decision of the Executive Committee of VCCI, the current admission fee and annual membership fee applied for official members are based on the applicant's annual turnover as follows:
- Less than VND10 billion: VND1 million per year.
- Between VND10 billion and VND50 billion: VND5 million per year.
- From VND50 billion upwards: VND10 million per year.
The admission fee and annual membership fee are subject to adjustment by the Executive Committee.

| HOW TO APPLY FOR ASSOCIATED MEMBERSHIP OF VCCI |
The amended Statute of VCCI adopted by the fourth General Assembly and approved by the Government of Vietnam provides that business enterprises and business associations, duly registered and operating abroad, that have business relations with Vietnam or representative office in Vietnam may join VCCI as associated members.
In order to be associated members, the interested parties are requested to send to VCCI head office in Hanoi or its branches and representative offices the following documents:
- Application for associated member of VCCI (using VCCI form)
- License for operating in Vietnam (copy)
- Other materials of the party
On receiving the application, the Standing Committee of VCCI shall consider and decide on the admission of associated members. The Standing Committee, then, shall notify the application thereof after which the latter shall pay the admission fee.
The applicant shall become associated member after the prescribed admission fee is paid up.
According to Decision of the Executive Committee of VCCI, the current admission fee and annual membership fee applied for associated member are equivalent to USD200. The admission fee and annual membership fee are subject to adjustment by the Executive Committee.
